24th Youth Leadership Awards
The Youth Leadership Awards is UCAN’s flagship fundraiser held annually. This important evening is dedicated to celebrating the academic and personal achievements of UCAN’s outstanding youth. Each year, several exceptional young people are recognized and receive scholarships for higher education, including the Steans Family Youth Leadership Award presented to a deserving young person from the North Lawndale community.
UCAN is thrilled to present the tenth annual John D. Nichols Impact Award to the Steans Family Foundation, honoring Patricia (Pat) Ford, in recognition of their positive impact on youth and families in Chicago. UCAN is also proud to establish the Corporate Philanthropy Award, to recognize an organization that has demonstrated exceptional philanthropic commitment to UCAN and the youth of Chicago. This inaugural award will be presented to The Allstate Corporation, accepted by Mario Rizzo, President, Property-Liability Insurance.
